Addressing a Eurasia parliamentary meeting in the Russian capital of Moscow, Larijani pointed to the US model of global management that was created after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, and said it proved to be unacceptable after several crises hit the region.
That is because the Americans are a “global problem” themselves, Larijani said, stressing that they cannot be relied on by any country as they constantly create crises all over the world.
He further referred to the issue of terrorism in the region and the crises in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Libya, and stressed that the US is behind these crises.
“What has created such problems? The important factor here is the USA’s instrumental use of terrorism,” Larijani stressed.
The Eurasia inter-parliamentary summit started on April 18 and will continue until April 20.
According to BelTA news agency, the meeting in Moscow is focused on stronger parliamentary cooperation among Eurasian countries.
Heads of parliament from some 20 counties are taking part in the conference.
